Live Circus Performance & Movie Under the Stars
The Quilcene Historical Museum proudly hosts and presents this much-loved community event and welcomes the amazing Up Up UP circus troupe annually to Worthington Park Quilcene. The circus is by donation and the free movie, popcorn, and parking are all courtesy of your host, The Quilcene Historical Museum.
Learn more about the UP UP UP Inc Circus Troupe’s Live Performance
Circus shows are donation based – their goal is to bring the circus to anyone and everyone who may need it, regardless of money. They drive up in a BIG truck with a stage, a baby grand piano for live music and a 30’ hand cranked crane for aerial acts and other shenanigans!
Movie Under the Stars: See What’s New
Each year the museum selects a family-friendly movie and provides it free to community along with popcorn and parking. Please check back in June for new movie details.

Quilcene Fiber Festival – Explore it all from sheep to shawl
Please join us in Worthington Park Quilcene for the Annual Fiber Festival: From Sheep to Shawl. The Quilcene Historical Museum partners with Fiber and Clay to celebrate the extraordinarily diverse talents in our region.
We have performances, live music, a food court, workshops, animals, and many vendors. Explore the newly restored Victorian mansion, expanded and upgraded museum, outdoor theatre, and historic barn on 10 acres. There will truly be something here for everyone – with many engaging, fun, and educational events for all ages within the 1892 Hamilton-Worthington Mansion, open meadows, the Linger Longer Outdoor Theatre, near the 1915 Historic Barn and inside the Quilcene Historical Museum.
Learn the history, meet today’s experts and crafters, find amazing holiday gifts, bring the whole family – kids will love the hands-on workshops and live animals. It is the most exciting and unique new Fiber Festival on the peninsula!
Lise Solvang of Fiber and Clay adds,“The Quilcene Fiber Festival will be an Experience for All. It will take you back in time, and bring you home to today. From an 1800’s walking spinning wheel to today’s e-spinner, created locally. From a beautiful Gaelic tradition of Wool Waulking with song and cloth fulling to felting your own dryer balls. See a sheep being shorn, learn to knit, weave and felt, visit with local hand dyers, spinners, knitters and their beautiful wares.”
The festival begins at 10am, with plenty of free parking, courtesy of the Quilcene Historical Museum. ADA parking available behind the mansion. Service animals are welcome indoors, and on-leash pets are welcome in the park.
For all events, please check out the Worthington Park Event Calendar and keep up with us on Facebook to learn about more fun outdoor activities as we announce them and we’ll see you in Worthington Park!
