Worthington Park hosts many public events – including concerts, community festivals, fundraisers, and more.

2023 Event Calendar
Bring your picnic, book your mansion stay, private event, wedding, or come join us for our annual events on open meadows, gardens, a picnic area, tranquil duck pond, forested hiking trails along the CK Birkenfeld Trail and scenic river frontage on the Little Quilcene River.
Unique, Historical Event Center
Worthington Park’s infrastructure provides ideal settings for special events throughout the year for our community as well as visitors from outside the county, state, and nation. Our vision is to integrate these unique features into a multi-functional event center to attract increased numbers of visitors as it educates, entertains, and enriches. We expect to become fully operational this year, and “open our doors” upon completion of the interior restoration and supporting infrastructure. Our facilities continue to attract an increasing number of visitors supporting our goals of building the local economy by attracting new events and tourism.
Worthington Park has everything necessary to host the event of your dreams. You can host an event or a party at the Linger Longer stage and meadow, next to the historic barn, beside the tranquil pond and scenic river, or even in the forested area along the CK Birkenfeld Trail. The 10 acre grounds include the outdoor stage with space for parking, event vendors, or anything else you can imagine to make your event successful.
The Worthington Mansion was built in 1892 and contains 17 rooms, rises to 3 stories, and is capped by a magnificent Late Victorian, French 2nd Empire Mansard roof – creating a generous amount of unique interior space for events of all kinds, from intimate parties to corporate retreats.
Worthington Park is a Property of the Quilcene Historical Museum, a 501(c)3 organization.

Celebrating Our Community’s Heritage
We are excited to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Quilcene Historical Museum’s operation. This is a milestone for all of us, as Worthington Park comes into full operation to continue the preservation of our local history by weaving it into the everyday events of life. We appreciate all the support you have given over the past 30 years, and look forward to building a greater legacy, long into the future.
