The biggest and best gravel race in Jefferson County just took place in Quilcene at Worthington Park – this past Saturday, 17 June. We hosted over 200 bicyclists (over 260 registered) in a day long rain that did not slow down these riders who braved the three courses climbing up into the Olympics – the longest of which was 80 miles. The races were directed by Peninsula Adventure Sports and hosted by the Quilcene Historical Museum. Discovery Bay Brewing provided the beer for the beer garden and Quilbilly’s Restaurant and Taproom provided locally sourced meals for the bikers. This was the largest turnout in the three years these races have been conducted at Worthington Park. It was one of the biggest events in South County for the year. We’re already planning to make next year’s event even better! For more information: https://peninsulaadventuresports.com/events/quilcene-gravel-unravel/bon-jon-pedal-bender/
