Summertime is coming and Key City Public Theatre is here for your performing artists to shine! Every summer, they offer week long camps for ages 8-15. These day camps provide an immersive experience for students of all levels to deepen and expand skills taught throughout the year. They are also an excellent introduction to the fun and creativity of theatre arts education. Full and partial scholarships are available, please click here to check the Key City Theatre website for more details, and to register your eligible kids today. (Link opens in a new tab.)
Each camp ends with a showcase for friends and family to highlight their experience during the immersive week. These popular camps that engage youth in fun, creative ways outdoors at HJ Carroll Park (Chimacum) and Worthington Park (Quilcene) generally sell out, so early registration is recommended.
The kid’s workshop at Worthington Park is from August 15-19, from 9am-12:30pm. The public showcase takes place on August 19, at 12:15pm; showcase attendance is free.
