Quilcene Festival Weekend: September 16-18, 2022
Everyone loves a three-ring circus! On the weekend of September 16-18, 2022, three great events are converging – the 10th Annual Quilcene Oyster Races, the historic Quilcene Fair and Parade, and the 20th Annual Jefferson County Farm Tour. All three organizations are coordinating this year to create a continuous weekend celebration that spans Jefferson County, Washington. This “Big Top” will not disappoint. Come for the Farms and Fun …. and Stay for the Run!

“The Rhody Run and Oyster Races have closely collaborated over the years in a partnership of great mutual support. Both runs are committed to the health and education of their communities. Oyster Races provides volunteers to be all the race marshals for the Rhody Run 5K. In turn, Rhody reciprocates with its historically generous donation to the Oyster Races’ Brinnon-Quilcene Dollars for Scholars – making it one of the biggest financial sponsors for the event. This is a marriage made in heaven and is destined to last for years to come.”

Also during the summer, Worthington Park Quilcene will host the Bon Jon Pass Out bike race on June 18, 2022 at the foot of the Olympic Mountains, which supports the Count Me In for Quilcene local scholarships and the Quilcene Historical Museum. The museum hosts the Jefferson County Library 6 week, Summer Reading Program and Project, beginning June 23, 2022. Click Here to View our Event Calendar for the Reading Program Details.
Later in the summer, come back for more fun. On Friday, August 12, 2022, the 13th Annual Tasting Gala returns to Worthington Park with a new theme – so stay tuned and don’t plan your outfit just yet! Next up is the wildly popular UP UP UP, Inc., Circus and Movie Night in Worthington Park on Saturday, August, 13, 2022. The circus performance is by donation (or free) to support the UP UP UP inc nonprofit. And the movie under the stars in Worthington Park is free for everyone.
And for those planning a getaway or private event – pack a bag because overnight stays in the grand 1892 Victorian Hamilton-Worthington mansion will begin sometime in June. Check our home page for updates, or watch Evolve.com for our rental listing to go live.
Make your summer plans now and we’ll see you, in Worthington Park!
